Request your MusicMood data be deleted

MusicMood stores all your data — listening history, journal entries, biometric samples, mood analyses — locally on your device. There is no MusicMood user account to delete.

Delete all on-device data

  1. Open your device’s Settings
  2. Go to Apps → MusicMood → Storage
  3. Tap Clear data
  4. Optional: Uninstall the app

This removes 100% of MusicMood’s local data instantly.

Delete Google Drive journal backups (if you enabled cloud sync)

If you ever turned on the optional “Sync journal to Google Drive” feature, MusicMood wrote one file to your own Google Drive. You control it directly:

  1. Open Google Drive in any browser
  2. Find the folder named MusicMood Journal Backup
  3. Right-click → Move to trash
  4. Open the Trash and click Empty trash (or wait 30 days for auto-purge)
  5. Optional: revoke MusicMood’s Drive access at Google account permissions

Background

MusicMood does not maintain user accounts, server-side profiles, or cross-device identifiers. There is no central database of users — we have no way to look you up, because we have no record of you. Clearing the app’s local data (and your own Drive backup if you made one) is the full extent of your MusicMood footprint.
